The Charlotte Independence said farewell to the Sportsplex at Matthews on Wednesday night with a 3-0 victory against rival the Charleston Battery as Dane Kelly recorded a goal and assist to lead the side to victory in its final game before its move to its new 10,000-seat downtown stadium in July.
