Quarter 1: Highlanders 15, Magic 21
Both teams had slow starts with low shooting percentages. The Riptide hit a few more shots and were up 6 after the first quarter. Atterberry led the Highlanders with 7 points.
Quarter 2: Highlanders 31, Riptide 56
The second quarter was much of the same with the Highlanders unable to find the bottom of the basket. The Riptide capitalized by hitting their shots to take 25-point lead into halftime.
Quarter 3: Highlanders 71, Magic 76
The second half for the Highlanders was better than the first offensively with both teams trading baskets. Each time the Highlanders would threaten to make a run, the Riptide would respond with a big bucket to maintain the large lead.
Quarter 4: Highlanders 87, Riptide 111
The final quarter saw the Riptide continue to hold the Highlanders back from making a run and Saint John maintained the lead to the end.
