
Hickory-Asheville Rained Out

Asheville Tourists News Release
Thursday night's game between Hickory and Asheville at McCormick Field has been postponed, due to rain.
Asheville and Hickory will play a single game on Friday at 7:05 p.m. at McCormick Field. Thursday night's game will be made up as part of a double-header on Saturday, starting at 5:35 p.m. The two teams will then conclude the four-game series on Sunday with a single game at 2:05 p.m.
Asheville will send 2011 first-round pick Tyler Anderson (1-0, 3.60 ERA) to the mound on Friday while Hickory counters with fellow lefty Victor Payano (3-1, 3.31 ERA).
On Saturday morning, the Tourists will host a free youth clinic from 10:00 a.m.-noon at McCormick Field. Following the clinic, the annual Meet The Tourists Luncheon will take place. Tickets for the luncheon are available at McCormick Field for just $6.
