HFX Wanderers Host CF Montreal in Quarterfinal Championship Game

Halifax, NS - HFX Wanderers FC(CPL) host the Canadian Championship quarterfinals against CF Montreal (MLS) at the historic Halifax Wanderers Grounds 7:30pm ADT. Sep 22, 2021.
Halifax Wanderers FC advanced in theCanadian Championships after a thrilling 2-1 victory over A.S. Blainville(PLSQ) in front of a sell out crowd at The Wanderers Grounds August 17th. This win advanced the Wanderers to the quarterfinal match against CF Montreal(MLS) in the quest for the Championship and a berth in the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League.
"We are thrilled to welcome CF Montreal to the Wanderers Grounds on September 22nd for a memorable night" said Derek Martin, President and Founder of the Wanderers. "This will be the first game in Phase 5 of the Nova Scotia Reopening plan and we expect a full house of 6,500 fans"
Ticketing: Wanderers Season Ticket Holders will be offered advanced access to game day tickets. Single game tickets will then be available to the general public. Updated ticketing information will be available soon at https://hfxwanderersfc.canpl.ca/
About Championships: The competition consists of four rounds (regional pairings in the first two rounds). CF Montréal, Forge FC, and Toronto FC enter the tournament in the quarter-finals due to their placements in the 2019 and 2020 editions of the competition. All other teams entered in the preliminary round of the tournament.
