
'Heroes for Heroes' Legends Game Rosters Finalized

(Bridgeport, Conn. - July 2, 2015) - The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced the local celebrities that will play on the Yankees and Red Sox teams during the 'Heroes for Heroes' Legends Game at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, presented by Kia Motors America, Inc. and the Connecticut Kia Dealers on Thursday, July 9th.
Bluefish Manager Ricky VanAsselberg will be the manager of the Red Sox team. The Red Sox roster will include Marty Barrett, Dennis Ray "Oil Can" Boyd, Ellis Burks, Scott Cooper, Bill "Spaceman" Lee, and Mike Timlin. Joining them will be:

The Yankees team will be managed by Bluefish Hitting Coach John Harris. The Yankees roster consists of Jesse Barfield, Dwight "Doc" Gooden, Charlie Hayes, Scott Kamieniecki, Jim Leyritz, and Matt Nokes. Joining them will be:

Proceeds from the Heroes for Heroes Legends Game will benefit ABRI/Homes for the Brave, a nonprofit based right here in Bridgeport that is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless individuals, especially Veterans.
