Herauf Returns to Blazers Lineup

Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Oklahoma City Blazers of the Central Hockey League signed forward Brad Herauf, Blazers head coach Doug Sauter announced today.

Herauf, a 5-11, 190-pound native of Regina, Saskatchewan is entering his second full season in the professional ranks. During the 04-05 campaign, he ranked fifth on the team with 39 points (22-17-39) while serving a team high 172 penalty minutes. In 79 games as a pro, all with Oklahoma City, he has recorded 47 points (25-22-47) and served 329 penalty minutes.

"Game in and game out, Brad was one of our most consistent players," said Sauter. "Brad is a solid two-way player who has improved greatly since his arrival here in early 2004. I expect him to use his experience to his advantage this season and come through with solid play."

The addition of Herauf brings the number of players signed for the 05-06 season to six. He joins captain Tyler Fleck, centermen Garrett Prosofsky and Kahlil Thomas, defenseman Jason Goulet and goaltender Sean Connors on the Blazers roster.
