Houston, TX (Tuesday, December 27, 2005) - History will be made this April when Houston's new Major League Soccer team begins its inaugural season...But, what will the team be called? Houston...we have a problem and, we need your help!

Your MLS team is asking citizens of Houston to select the team's name from a list of thirteen ‘finalists'. Fans can log on to www.chron.com/contests, www.MLSinHouston06.com or MLSnet.com to vote for their favorite.

One winning fan who casts a vote before Friday, January 6th at 5:00 PM will win an "MLS Houston Soccer Prize Pack" which includes:

Two season tickets to the MLS team's inaugural season in Houston An autographed soccer ball An autographed MLS team jersey

"This is a great way for Houston sports fans to show their support and excitement for our new MLS Team," said Oliver Luck, President & General Manager. "What a great opportunity to play a role in the launch of our team."

Fans can vote for their favorite name among the finalists which include:
