
Heidt & Ziemmer to Participate in 2023 NHL Scouting Combine

PRINCE GEORGE BC - Prince George Cougars' forwards Riley Heidt and Koehn Ziemmer are two of the 106 prospects invited to participate in the 2023 NHL Scouting Combine at the KeyBack Center and HarborCentre in Buffalo, NY.
According to NHL.com, the NHL Combine features physical testing medical assessments, and one-on-one interviews conducted by the representatives of each organization's hockey operations staff. Seven of the 11 fitness tests will take place at HarborCenter on June 10 (standing height/wingspan, standing horizontal jump, force plate vertical jump, bench press, pro agility test, pull ups, Wingate Cycle Ergometer test).
The annual NHL Scouting Combine allows the scouting and management staff among each respective organization to receive one final comprehensive look at this upcoming draft class before making their decisions at the 2023 NHL Draft, which takes place in Nashville from June 28-29.
