Daytona Tortugas News Release
We have been informed by our bobblehead company that because of Customs delays, the Hee Seop Choi Bobbleheads will not arrive before the scheduled giveaway on June 3rd. We are changing the Hee Seop Choi Bobblehead giveaway night to Saturday, June 21st, to coincide with Lynch Imports Night at the Ballpark. Also on that night Wayne Messmer, the voice of the Chicago Cubs, will be joining our own Tim Lecras in the press box and then he'll be mixing it up with the crowd.
We apologize for this change of schedule...we know it's an inconvenience and it's one of the unfortunate things about ordering products that are made overseas, but we're trying to notify all fans in advance of this change. We appreciate your understanding. Furthermore, anybody who specifically purchased a ticket for the original giveaway night on Tuesday, June 3rd, may exchange it for the game on Saturday, June 21st.
Contact the Daytona Cubs at (386) 257-3172 for more information.
More All-Star voting by our fans...
Ok Here's my say for the All-Star picks - CARMEN PIGNATEILLO. It would be great to see what he can do with an exceptional defense behind him. - Pat Drosten
My vote goes to Micah Hoffpauir...this guy is the Florida Power Company !!!! - Joe Kapsch
It would be nice to see Jemel Spearman get a nod for the All Star Game as a flexible bench player, he has a pretty good batting avg. at the moment .324. I cast my vote for Jemel. - DJRabbeye
