
Heatwave defeat Warriors in exhibition

Fresno, CA. Johnny Moore and the ABA Fresno Heatwave defeated the visiting Ontario Warriors in both teams' first exhibition game 112-94. According to Moore, "It was fast-paced and hard fought - and it gave both coaches an opportunity to see the players under game conditions. We learned a lot."
Heatwave guard, Demetrius Porter led all scorers with 22 ponts shooting 3 for 7 from 3 point range and 7 for 7 from the foul line. He also had 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Teammate Terri Miller contributed 20 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Jeleni Janisse led the Warriors with 19 points.
