August 13, 2009 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Sacramento Heatwave News Release
Sacramento, CA. The ABA Sacramento Heatwave have announced a second and perhaps final tryout camp scheduled for Sunday, September 13th in Sacramento, CA. "We've identified some good prospects in last weekend's camp and we want to fill the remaining spots we have," said Reggie Davis, team owner. "There is still plenty of room for quality players on our roster. We've had several calls from players that missed the camp or had schedule conflicts, and we want to give them an opportunity to show us what they've got. We're looking to field the best team we can for our fans." Players should register early. Registration information is available at www.heatwavelive.com or by calling 559 779 0100 or visiting www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
