JUPITER, Fla. Andrew Heaney tossed five innings of one-hit ball in Jupiter's 3-2 win over the Bradenton Marauders Wednesday night at Roger Dean Stadium.

Pitching for the first time since before the All-Star Break, Heaney held the Marauders to one unearned run on one hitan Elias Diaz double in the second inningand one walk, striking out four. Two errors on the Diaz double allowed him to score on the play. Eric Avila coaxed a walk to leadoff the third inning, but Heaney was perfect thereafter en route to his first win of the season.

The Miami Marlins' first-round pick in 2012, Heaney has allowed just three earned runs in 25.1 innings (1.07 ERA) across six outings (five starts) this year. He has struck out 30 against seven walks. The Oklahoma State product has held opponents to one earned run or less in five of his six appearances.

Wilfredo Gimenez had his second three-hit game of the series, going 3-for-4 with three singles. He also stole second on a double-steal with Ryan Goetz in the second inning, his first of the season. The Hammerheads' part-time catcher and designated hitter went 7-for-12 in the series sweep of Bradenton, raising his season batting average 32 points.

Trailing 1-0 after three-and-a-half innings, Goetz got the Hammerheads started with a leadoff triple in the bottom of the fourth. Austin Nola singled him home to put Jupiter on the board and even the score. Ross Wilson grounded into a double-play two batters later, scoring Nola from third base to give Jupiter the lead.

A two-out double off the bat of Wilson scored Gimenez from first base in the sixth inning to give the Hammerheads an insurance run that later proved to be the game-winner.

With two outs in the seventh, Avila hit an RBI single to left field off of Jupiter's LHP Greg Nappo. The run was charged to RHP Jake Esch, who walked three and struck out two in 1.1 innings.

Hammerheads' closer Nick Wittgren was summoned from the 'pen with one out and the bases loaded in the top of the eighth. The 2013 All-Star struck out Jose Osuna, then got Diaz to fly out to center field to end the threat. Wittgren worked around a leadoff single in the ninth to record his Florida State League-leading 14th save of the season. It was the fifth save in which he recorded more than three outs.

RHP Matt Benedict pitched respectably in defeat, tossing five innings of two-run ball. He allowed six hits and two walks, striking out one. The loss dropped the 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-hander to 0-7 on the season with a 5.37 ERA.

Benji Gonzalez, Garcia and Avila each stole a base for the Marauders, who now have 107 stolen bases as a team22 more than any other squad in the Florida State League.

Following their three-game sweep of Bradenton, Jupiter will travel to Ft. Myers Thursday for a three-game set with the Miracle. In game one, the Hammerheads will throw RHP Josh Hodges (1-1, 2.60 ERA), who has gone seven consecutive outings (a span of 17.2 innings) without allowing more than one earned run. He'll oppose Ft. Myers' RHP Matt Summers (1-4, 3.59), who has allowed just two earned runs over his last three starts. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Hammond Stadium.
