
Hawks Announce Partial Preseason Slate

Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Waterloo, Iowa-The Waterloo Black Hawks open a five-week exhibition schedule on August 21st, in preparation for the 2015/16 United States Hockey League regular season.
A pair of split-squad scrimmages against the Madison Capitols in the midst of Waterloo's orientation camp kick off the action. Slated for consecutive afternoons August 21st and 22nd, these two contests will be open to the public at no cost, however - for the second consecutive year - Black Hawks fans are encouraged contribute school supplies, which will be donated to the Waterloo Community Schools. A box for supplies will be set up at Young Arena entrances on game day.
Following a two-week layoff after orientation camp, the Hawks play four other games which were announced on Thursday, highlighted by a home matchup against the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Friday, September 11th. Admittance for this game is included with season ticket packages; single game tickets for the exhibition will be $7 and available at a future date.
A special announcement about additional preseason hockey at Young Arena will be forthcoming next week, the Black Hawks said Thursday.

The 2015/16 regular season slate begins on the road Friday, September 25th versus the Bloomington Thunder. Saturday, September 26th, the Hawks play the first of 30 home games against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Season tickets for the 2015/16 campaign are available, offering unique savings and special benefits.
