SAN ANTONIO (September 5, 2007) - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that the club has signed defenseman Dylan Reese to a one-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract. The deal also has an option for a second year.

The 23-year-old registered four points (all assists) and 12 penalty minutes in 10 games with the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack last season after completing his four-year collegiate career with Harvard University of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).

Reese, the captain of the Crimson squad last year, was selected to the 2006-07 season All-Ivy First Team and All-ECAC Hockey League Second Team for the second straight year. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound blueliner was the recipient of the John Tudor Memorial Cup as Harvard's most valuable player after leading all Crimson defensemen for the third consecutive year after posting 18 points (9 goals, 9 assists) in 33 games. He also led ECACHL defensemen and tied for sixth overall in the league with eight power-play goals.

In his collegiate career, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native compiled 21 goals and 40 assists for 61 points in 122 games. Reese, an economics concentrator, was selected to the New England Hockey Writers Division-I Men's All-Star and ECACHL All-Academic teams his senior year. The seventh-round pick by the New York Rangers in the 2003 NHL Draft had his best season as a junior leading Harvard defensemen with 19 points (4g, 15a) in 33 games and being tabbed to the ECACHL Championship All-Tournament Team while capturing his first All-Ivy and All-ECACHL honors.

The Rampage will start their sixth AHL season on October 6. Season ticket packages have been greatly reduced and are on sale now. For ticket information, please call 210.444.5554 or visit sarampage.com.
