
Hartford Colonials Sign Offensive Lineman

Hartford Colonials News Release
The Hartford Colonials signed offensive lineman Jacob Bender and released offensive lineman Cameron Stephenson.
Bender (6-5, 315) was signed by the New Orleans Saints on Sept. 14 and assigned to the team's practice squad. He was released last week.
Bender, 25, has spent most of the last two seasons on the practices squads of the Patriots, 49ers and Giants. He has played in two regular season games, both with the Jets in 2007, and 16 preseason contests.
Bender was a sixth-round pick draft pick out of Nichollls State by the Jets in 2007 and appeared in his first NFL game Oct. 28 against the Bills that season.
