HARTFORD, CT - Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - The Hartford Colonials of the United Football League added former Jacksonville Jaguars guard Cameron Stephenson to the roster and removed offensive linemen Andre Barbour and William Bustle.
Stephenson was released by the Jaguars on July 7. He spent the 2009 season on Jacksonville's practice squad after the team signed him Dec. 16, 2008.
Stephenson (6-3, 326) was a fifth-round draft pick by the Steelers in 2007. He has also been with Green Bay, Philadelphia and New Orleans. He played three seasons at Rutgers and earned Second Team All-BIG East honors as a senior with the Scarlet Knights in 2006.
Players will report to training camp Aug. 16 and team practices are held at Sage Park in Berlin. The season opener is Sept. 18 against Sacramento at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
