Championship-Winning Tight End Adam Bergen Joins Locos For Radio Appearance, Promotions

LAS VEGAS, NV - Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - Las Vegas Locos tight end ADAM BERGEN will return to the city where he won a United Football League Championship to help promote the Locos during the build up to the 2010 UFL season.
Bergen will be a guest of ESPN Radio 1100 'The Sports Leader' in Las Vegas from 1pm to 2pm on Thursday, July 15 when the Locos will make a major announcement concerning the upcoming UFL season. Locos head coach JIM FASSEL will join Bergen during the station's live remote from the NBA Summer League at the Cox Pavilion. The show will also feature call-ins from rival head coaches, other Locos players and UFL Commissioner MICHAEL HUYGHUE.
The LocoMotion dancers - a group of 32 local women who were selected from tryouts held in Las Vegas last month - will also perform during the NBA Summer League games.
Bergen will appear again on ESPN Radio 1100 at 4.30pm on Thursday, before joining dancers from the Locomotion for a Locos fans meet and greet at Sierra Gold, a casually upscale tavern that features refined decor in a comfortable atmosphere, from 6pm to 8pm.
On Saturday, July 17, Bergen will attend the fifth annual 100.5 Jack FM Beer Fest Birthday Bash poolside at the South Point Casino from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and will again meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photographs. The event carries a $20 admission charge.
Former Arizona Cardinals starter Bergen was a key member of the title-winning team of 2009, catching 16 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season. He then led all receivers in the Championship Game 20-17 overtime victory over the Florida Tuskers by reeling in 7 passes for 52 yards.
