WYGM to Air Tuskers Games

ORLANDO, FL - Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - WYGM 740 "The Game," a 50,000-watt sports station will air all eight Florida Tuskers games during the 2010 United Football League season.

The broadcasts will include a pre-game and post-game show. The station will also air the UFL championship game if the Tuskers are involved.

As part of the marketing/broadcast agreement, the station will also air a live, one-hour program weekly featuring Tuskers Head Coach Jay Gruden. The show will originate from a downtown Orlando location that will be accessible to fans.

"We are thrilled to announce that 740 The Game will be our broadcast partner for the upcoming season. They have a long history in this market of providing the best in sports to the Central Florida community," Tuskers Director of Business Management Windsor Hall said. "More importantly, this is just part of a far-reaching agreement with Clear Channel Communications. The airing of Florida Tuskers football is just a part of the broadcast exposure and branding that Clear Channel will be providing the UFL and the Tuskers this season."

Other elements of the agreement include daily announcements promoting upcoming Florida Tuskers broadcasts and periodic mentions of WYGM as official home of the Florida Tuskers, a weekly Tuskers Preview segment on the Sports Rx Show, player interviews on local programming, Tuskers player and coaching features on the station's website, ticket e-mail blasts on both WYGM and sister-rock station WJRR and daily on-air ticket giveaways.
