HARTFORD, Conn. - Hartford Athletic have announced the launch of their Girls Academy, marking a significant stride in the Club's unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and diversity within the beautiful game. Beginning Fall 2024, the Hartford Athletic Girls Academy will field teams from age groups U8 through U14, all competing in the New England Club Soccer League.
"Launching our Girls Academy is a significant step forward in our mission to cultivate talent and provide opportunities for young athletes," said Hartford Athletic CEO Nick Sakiewicz. "Connecticut is rich with talented young soccer players, and we look forward to welcoming them into our academy. We are excited to offer a first-class platform where girls can develop their skills, pursue their passion for soccer, and reach their full potential."
Hartford Athletic Girls Academy players will enjoy a wealth of resources curated by the Club, ensuring a holistic player development journey. Players will have the unique opportunity to receive expert instruction from the Club's first team coaches and players, immersing themselves in a culture of excellence from those who have played at the country's top levels of the sport. Girls Academy players will also get to train and play games at the world-class Day Hill Dome in Windsor, Connecticut, as well as Trinity Health Stadium where the first team plays their home matches in the USL Championship.
