Rockford IceHogs News Release

Rockford, Ill.-The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the United Hockey League, announced that they have signed right winger Terry Harrison for the 2004-05 season. The IceHogs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Steve Martinson made the announcement on Thursday. Keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The 2004-05 campaign will be Harrison's second in the professional ranks. Last season, the 5-11 winger spent his rookie year with the Southern Division Champion Columbia Inferno (ECHL). Harrison racked up 19g-19a-38pts during his first pro season and tied for the team lead with five-game winning goals in 03-04.

Harrison shined during the stretch run as well for the Inferno. In the team's final eight games of the season, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native racked up 5g-3a-8pts and had a plus/minus rating of +11. Three of Harrison's five goals in the season's final two weeks were game winners helping lead Columbia to the Division title.

Prior to turning pro, Harrison skated four years collegiately at Northern Michigan University. During his four year college career with the Wildcats, the forward topped the 30 point plateau twice (2000-01, 31pts and 2002-03, 33pts). During his senior season, Harrison collected a career high 17 goals, third most on the squad.

Harrison is the third player signed by the IceHogs for the club's sixth season in Rockford. Also under contract for the Hogs are forwards J.F. Dufour and Bruce Watson.
