Harrisburg Heat Set Preseason Schedule

HARRISBURG, PA, Oct. 7, 2013 - The Heat will play two matches at Sports City Harrisburg prior to the start of their second season in the Professional Arena Soccer League., the team announced today.

The first match - the second annual Red & Black intrasquad game - will be played on Saturday, Oct. 26, with a second and final tune-up following on Saturday, Nov. 2, against the New Jersey Dynamo., a team with aspirations of joining the PASL next season.

Both matches will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for both games, although season ticket holders may enter at 5 p.m. prior to the Red & Black match for a special pregame presentation.

All tickets are general admission. Seating is limited to 400.

Tickets for the Dynamo game will cost $5 with no charge for the Red & Black game.

GROUP SALES: The Heat are now accepting orders for group sales for the 2013-14 season in the Equine Arena at the State Farm Show & Expo Center. Groups also may use the field for up to seven hours before each of the Heat's 10 home games, including all eight of the regular-season games in the PASL and two scheduled Open Cup matches. OPENING NIGHT: The Heat open their second season in the PASL with games on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9-10 at Detroit and Cleveland. The first of Harrisburg's eight regular-season home games will follow at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, also against Detroit, in the Equine Arena of the State Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. The Heat again this season will be coached by the legendary Richard Chinapoo with Middletown native and longtime local radio broadcaster John Wilsbach beginning his first season as the franchise's owner.
