
HarbourCats Partner With Island Savings

Victoria, BC - General Manager Holly Jones is thrilled to announce that Island Savings will be the "Official Financial Partner of the Victoria HarbourCats" for the 2013 Inaugural Season. Island Savings is the fastest growing Islands-based financial institution, with 16 branches serving Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands.
Island Savings will be sponsoring two Youth Baseball and Softball Nights at the park. These two nights will be during home games on June 11 and July 19 at Royal Athletic Park. The first night, the HarbourCats will take on the other expansion team for 2013, the Medford Rogues. The second night will see the HarbourCats up against the reigning WCL Champions, the Wenatchee Applesox. Fans will be able to learn more about Island Savings and meet members of their community team during the sponsored game nights when Island Savings will have an information table set up on the Royal Athletic Park concourse during the game.
Island Savings will be featured prominently at Royal Athletic Park on the outfield video board throughout the HarbourCats inaugural season. The Island Savings Community Crew will also be appearing alongside the HarbourCats Street Team during Harvey the HarbourCat appearances at community events throughout the season.
Island Savings is a home grown business and is well-known for their active support of hundreds of community organizations. The average distance between their administration office and any of their branches is just 34 kilometres making for local and personalized service at every location.
