LHP J.A. Happ and three Bisons relievers combined on a seven-hit shutout as the Herd (2-1) defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 4-0, Friday afternoon from Clearwater, FL.
Happ allowed just one hit over three innings of work for Buffalo. He struck out three and walked one batter. RHP Casey Lawrence held the IronPigs off the scoreboard for three frames with four strikeouts. RHP Mickey Storey (2.0 IP, H, K) and RHP Dustin Antolin (1.0 IP, H, 2 BB, 2K) completed the shutout.
The Bisons offense had 11 hits in the win, including two from OF Brad Glenn (2-4) and INF Andy Burns (2-4, R, 2B). OF Kenny Wilson went 1-2 with an RBI and a run scored.
