Corpus Christi Hammerheads News Release

If you are a fan of indoor football you would not have wanted to miss tonight's game in Lubbock. It was a back and forth matchup all night long. In the end the Hammerheads finished off the GunSlingers by running the ball. Terrence Bennett and Fred Wallace combined for 184 yards on the ground and 5 TD's. Chris Harrington chipped in with 3 touchdown passes on 15 for 23 for 114 yards and one interception. Devin Green led the receivers despite not playing the second half with 8 catches for 69 yards and a touchdown. The Hammerheads are now in sole possession of 2nd place with a 5-3 record. If Southwest Louisiana loses Monday night in Beaumont there would be a 3 way tie for 1st place. Next Saturday night the Hammerheads travel to Odessa for a rematch of the 45-34 loss at the American Bank Center four weeks ago.

The next home game is May 22nd vs. the Tri-Cities Fever and the first 1500 fans will receive Hammerheads Trading Card Sets sponsored by Harley Davidson. Tickets are available by calling 814-PASS or by stopping by and ticketmaster location.
