DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Brad Lee rushed for four touchdowns and Oscar Davenport threw for a season-high 205 yards as the Daytona Beach Hawgs regained first place in the National Indoor Football League's Atlantic South Division witha 53-37 victory over the Miami Morays before 2,601 at TUI Business Machines Fieldat the Ocean Center Saturday night.
The Hawgs (6-2) took a half-game lead over the Morays (5-2) and remained perfect at home (5-0).
Trailing 22-20 at halftime, the Hawgs held the Morays to one touchdown as they took a 53-29 lead behind three Lee touchdowns, a 17-yard Davenport to Lucas Greene touchdown pass, and a 16-yard Micah Simmons interception return.
Greene finished with five catches for 61 yards and two scores, while Erie Williams had five catches for 36 yards. This was Lee's third four-touchdown game of the season.
The Hawgs host the undefeated Everett Hawks (7-0) next Saturday.
