Hammerheads Introduce Capelli Sport as Official Supplier

Wilmington, NC - Wilmington Hammerheads FC announced today a long-term partnership with Capelli Sport as the club's official apparel supplier. Capelli Sport, a subsidiary of GMA Group, will produce all player jerseys, training gear and merchandise for the Hammerheads beginning with the upcoming 2015 USL season.
This deal marks Capelli Sport's first entry into U.S. professional soccer as the brand continues its expansion.
"We are very excited to supply the Hammerheads with the Capelli Sport brand," said George Altirs, Owner of Wilmington Hammerheads FC and CEO/Owner of Capelli Sport. "It provides opportunities for the both the Hammerheads and Capelli Sport to continue and expand their brands on a national level. I am very proud to have the Hammerheads wearing Capelli Sport and to have them be the first official team introducing the brand to U.S. professional soccer."
The Hammerheads have released three new kits for the upcoming season, including the traditional vertical light blue and white striped jersey, featuring the Capelli Sport signature, four cubes on the center chest, piping details and mesh panels. The main kit is accompanied by solid blue, navy, and white shorts.
"We are very excited to work with Capelli Sport and have them represent us as the official apparel provider of the club," said Wilmington Hammerheads FC General Manager Jason Arnold. "The quality and design is fantastic and still incorporates the traditional Hammerheads brand. We are excited to start seeing our new Capelli Sport jerseys around town and on the field this season."
New Hanover Regional Medical center will remain the official jersey sponsor of Wilmington Hammerheads FC.

The newly released Hammerheads jerseys are now available for purchase online at www.wilmingtonhammerheads.com and at the Hammerheads front office in downtown Wilmington.
The Hammerheads kick off their 2015 USL regular season at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 28 versus the Richmond Kickers at Legion Stadium. Season ticket packages and single tickets are now available for purchase online.
