
Hall and Stawarz Re-Sign For 2006

New Haven County Cutters News Release
West Haven- The New Haven County Cutters announced today that RHP Courtney Hall and RHP Jarrett Stawarz have re-signed for the 2006 season. Hall went 6-4 with a 4.37 ERA, while appearing in 20 games. Stawarz posted a 9-7 with a 4.58 ERA in 25 games.
Hall a graduate of UNLV signed with the Seattle Mariners in 2002. The 6'5" righty started 15 of 20 games last season and was an important part of the Cutters rotation. Hall threw 94.2 innings striking out 54 in the process.
Stawarz a Burlington Connecticut resident graduated from University of Hartford in 2004. Jarrett struck out 70 batters in 90.1 innings of work, while only allowing 40 walks. Jarrett was moved to the bullpen late in the year and was an important part of the second half championship.
The Cutters kick off the 2006 season on May 25th as they travel to take on the Brockton Rox. The Cutters will play their home opener on May 29th against 2005 Champion, Worcester Tornadoes.
