Halifax Looks to Make It Seven in a Row Tonight against Storm
February 19, 2015 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Halifax Rainmen News Release
With first place in the Atlantic Division still up for grabs tonight's match up from Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, between the Island Storm and Halifax Rainmen is shaping up to be the biggest encounter of the season between the two teams.
Halifax has begun to put pressure on the Island Storm in the race for first, stringing together an impressive six game winning streak heading into this evening's match. While Halifax looks to add a seventh straight victory, the Storm know that a win tonight will clinch the division, and give them home court advantage through the first two rounds of the playoffs.
While Halifax is confident heading into tonight's contest, given their recent performances, history could be on the Storm's side, as Halifax has yet to win inside Eastlink Centre this season. With so much on the line both teams are expected to play at a completely different level tonight.
Catch the action live on YouTube this evening starting at 7pm AST.
