Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC News Release

WINDSOR, Colo. - Looking to maintain their spot at the top of the USL League One table, Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC will be back at Future Legends Field Saturday against Lexington SC.

"We're really happy to be home," Hailstorm FC head coach Éamon Zayed said. "July was a really tough schedule. Seven games, four away games out of those seven, it took a toll on us."

That toll was evident in the last two matches of the month, both losses away from home to North Carolina FC and Charlotte independence.

"We're a team of winners, so we're going to bounce back," Hailstorm midfielder Marky Hernández said.

Hailstorm will have the opportunity to bounce back against a Lexington side that has won just one of its last five matches and that currently sits in 10th in the USL League One table with 18 points after a mid-week loss at Union Omaha.

Lexington is led by midfielder Ates Diouf and forward Nico Brown, who are tied for the team lead with six goals each this season. Diouf scored two of his six goals in Lexington's 2-2 draw with Hailstorm FC in June. Lexington defender Tate Robinson is fourth in USL League One with 34 chances created.

Hailstorm and Lexington will face off Saturday at Future Legends Field, kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Mountain time.
