Colorado Eagles News Release
WINDSOR, Colo. - The Governors' Cup champion Colorado Eagles announced today that Steve Haddon and Adam Hogg have re-signed with the team. The pair of players made up two-thirds of the team's effective third line last season when they combined with Brett Hammond on what became known as the "Triple-H" line.
Haddon enters his fourth full professional season after joining the Eagles as an amateur for the 2005-06 playoffs. The Sarnia, Ontario native laced up the skates for all 64 regular season games last season, setting career highs in goals (16), assists (27) and points (43) -- continuing a trend in which he has significantly increased his production each year (15 points in 2006-07, 31 in 2007-08). Haddon also established a new niche on the team's second power play unit last season, ranking fifth on the team in power-play goals (7) and tenth overall in power play points (16).
Hogg enters his third professional season after beginning his career with the CHL's Corpus Christi Rayz in 2007-08. Like his linemate, he played in all 64 regular season games last season, establishing new career highs in goals (17), assists (11) and points (28). In 15 playoff games, the Conestogo, Ontario native added eight points (1-7-8) in his first taste of postseason play.
The 2009-10 regular season starts with a President's Cup finals rematch against the Texas Brahmas on Friday, October 16. Tickets for all of this season's games will go on sale Saturday, September 19 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Budweiser Events Center box office, www.ComcastTix.com, 1-877-544-TIXX (8499), the Eagles Office in Water Valley or through any ComcastTIX Outlet.
