
Gwinnett Braves Announce 2011 Promotional Schedule

The Gwinnett Braves, the Triple-A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are pleased to roll out the 2011 promotional schedule as part of our ¬ÅMore than a Game ¬Â campaign. With a concentrated effort to offer the best value in local entertainment, it is the team's pledge to fans and the local community to continue to evolve by bringing fun and excitement on a nightly basis to Coolray Field. As part of the entertainment expansion from last season, the G-Braves have added new theme nights and giveaways as well as bringing back fan favorites including ¬ÅFireworks Fridays ¬Â and ¬ÅKids Run the Bases! ¬Â This announcement is the first of a two-segment promotional schedule launch, and includes daily promotions such as ¬ÅKids Eat Free Mondays ¬Â and the popular ¬ÅKraft Singles Tuesday Night Tickets ¬Â to name just a few. The second part of the promotional schedule will be released tomorrow, featuring unique theme nights, giveaways and appearances.
New to 2011 will be more of the daily promotions fans enjoyed in 2010. The nightly promotions are as follows:
Kids Eat Free Mondays: One Monday per month, kids 12 & under will receive a coupon for one free hot dog, a bag of chips and a soda with entrance to the game. Dates are as follows:
Monday, April 11 - 7:05 PM vs. Norfolk Tides
Monday, May 2 - 7:05 PM vs. Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre Yankees
Monday, June 6 - 7:05 PM vs. Buffalo Bison
Monday, July 18 - 7:05 PM vs. Louisville Bats
Monday, August 1 - 7:05 PM vs. Indianapolis Indians
KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets: Every Tuesday, fans can receive two-for-one adult tickets by bringing a KRAFT Singles wrapper to the G-Braves box office. This discount has been increased from last season to include all seating areas at Coolray Field with the exception of the Home Plate Club and Braves Dugout.
Web Wednesday: We will offer a different online-only coupon each Wednesday good for that night's game. The coupons will be released one week prior to the game date. Discounts will include tickets, food, merchandise and more!
$3 Thursday: Our popular food and beverage discount is back. Our concourse kiosks will offer a variety of $3 items on our Thursday games from hot dogs to beer and other tasty ballpark fare.
Firework Fridays: Firework nights are back with a blast at Coolray Field. The Gwinnett Braves will light up the sky after every Friday night game starting April 15. Cheer on the team and stay until the 9th inning for your chance to see the most amazing fireworks show in Minor League Baseball!
Appearances & Giveaways: On Saturday nights, G-Braves games will feature cool giveaways and some of the nation's best traveling acts. No two weekends will be the same, so don't miss a single one.
Family Sundays: Sundays will again feature fan favorite post-game activities like ¬ÅKids Run the Bases, ¬Â as well as ¬ÅCatch in the Outfield. ¬Â The brand new Chopper's Kids Club will also take place on Sundays, with all members 12 & under receiving free tickets to Sunday games.
Bark in the Park: The first Sunday home game of every month will also feature Bark in the Park days. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to enjoy an afternoon game at the ballpark. Seating for those with pets at the game is restricted to the lawn area for these games. The Gwinnett Braves will also feature pregame parades and competitions like Best Dressed and Best Trick. Individual game tickets for the Gwinnett Braves 2011 season will go on sale Saturday, March 5, at 10 AM. The G-Braves kick off the 2011 season against the Durham Bulls on April 7th with spectacular fireworks following the game. Ticket packages are currently on sale including Season Tickets, Partial Plans including Weekend Plans and Anytime Tickets, as well as suites and group outings.
