2011 Mud Hens Opening Day Tickets and Single-Game Tickets to Go on Sale

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce that tickets for the Opening Day Doubleheader (April 14, 2011 vs. Columbus) will go on sale at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 19.

Tickets for all games other than Opening Day will be placed on sale starting on Monday, February 14 at 9:00 AM.

Assistant General Manager/Ticket Sales & Operations, Erik Ibsen said, "The fans have always treated Opening Day at Fifth Third Field as an unofficial holiday and we can't wait until April 14."

Opening Day Ticket Options: 1. "Opening Days Double Play" Ticket Package: (3 Hens games for one price!) Fans will receive one (1) lower level ticket for the Opening Day Doubleheader (Thursday, April 14 - 2 games) along with one ticket for the game on Friday, April 15. Price per ticket package $22.00

2. "Mud Hens & Walleye Opening Day" Package (New Package!) Fans will receive one ticket for the Mud Hens' Opening Day Doubleheader (April 14, 2011) and one ticket for Toledo Walleye Opening Night (October, 2011). Price per ticket package $29.00

3. "Opening Day Bash" Package Fans will receive one ticket for the Opening Day Doubleheader on Thursday, April 14. All-you-can-eat buffet will take place prior to the doubleheader Price per ticket package $30/$32 (depending on seat location)

4. SRO (Standing Room Only) tickets ($10.00)

All regular season games for the 2011 season will be priced at $9.00. Kids 12 & under and seniors will pay $7.00 for all single game tickets this season with the exception of Opening Day & firework games.

**The Mud Hens have pre-sold over 225,000 tickets as of this morning for the 2011 season. This number equates to 40% of last year's total attendance.

Ticket packages are currently available for purchase by calling (419) 725-HENS. All season ticket packages include Opening Day.
