On the game
We had an excellent start here tonight. We came out flying and back-to-back penalties took the wind out of our sails. And then the second period was all shift length related. We decided we were going to go longer and what happens is your heart rates are high and you can't recover and it suddenly got tilted the other way on us. I thought we played a little bit better in the third but certainly not up to the standard that has been set here by our players this year.
On the fifth game in eight days
That's a lot of action and a lot of travel. That's the nature of being a pro athlete. You're going to have to go through that adversity and learn how to deal with that. A good lesson for everyone.
On the forward group
Still wanting more. We have to find a way to be better in all areas, not only offensively. A lot of pucks are coming through our sticks right now. It's something we'll address Monday at practice.
