CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (28-24-9-1, 66pts) kept their playoff dreams alive with six games left with a 2-1 comeback victory over the San Diego Gulls (35-24-3-1, 74pts) on Saturday night at Rabobank Arena. LW Joey LaLeggia scored the game-winner in the third period and rookie LW Ostap Safin potted his first professional goal in the second period.
Bakersfield hosts Ontario on Wednesday and kept pace with Texas who also won tonight in Chicago.
