Greenville, SC – In their first home victory, seven Groove members had double figure scoring nights. Hand, Gray, Thomas, Kurtz, Lyde, Igo, and Williams all had double digit nights.

Donald Hand once again led the Groove in their 15-point victory over the Roanoke Dazzle. He had 14 points and 7 assists in the 87-72 triumph. The Groove advanced to 2-4, while the Dazzle fell to 1-5.

Greg Gray also had 14 points and 2 steals on the night. Brandon Kurtz and Shaun Igo both had 8 rebounds. The duo combined for 21 points, Kurtz with 11 and Igo with 10.

Terrence Shannon led the Dazzle, he had 15 points and 3 blocked shots. Terrence Shannon, Geoff Owens, and Mikki Moore all had 5 rebounds.

Shooting was the key to success tonight for the Groove, as a team they shot 50 percent (30-60) from the field and 81.3 (26-32) percent from the line. Roanoke shot 39.7 percent (25-63) from the field and 60 percent (21-35) from the line.

The Groove will face Asheville on Tuesday, November 26th at 7 pm in the BI-LO Center. After a break to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Groove will play host to the Huntsville Flight on Friday, November 29th at 2 pm.

In honor of the holiday season, Groove coaches, players, and front office staff will be at the Five Forks BI-LO on Woodruff Road on Monday, November 25th to greet customers and bag groceries. The team will be present from 4 – 5 pm.
