
Grogan Returns from ECHL Orlando

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings goaltender Matt Grogan has been returned from loan from ECHL Orlando, the team announced today. Grogan was the first RiverKings player to earn a promotion to the ECHL this season.
Grogan backed up Solar Bears netminder Ryan Massa in games on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8.
Grogan, 27, is in his first season with the RiverKings and has made two starts and is 2-0-0 with a 1.98 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage. He started and won for the RiverKings last night as they defeated the Macon Mayhem, 4-3, in overtime at the Landers Center. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Gilbert, Az. native has appeared in four ECHL games all with Fort Wayne in the 2013-14 season following the completion of his senior year at UCONN.
