Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that the team has signed defenseman Patrick Cullity.
Cullity spent his rookie season with the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays where he totaled two goals, 15 assists and a plus-14 in 71 games. He played five games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch in 2009-10 after four years of college hockey at the University of Vermont.
"Patrick had a great rookie season in South Carolina and competes every night," said Colley. "Our defensive corps looks very solid going into training camp. That was one of our strengths on last year's team when we were playing our best hockey."
Utah opens the season Friday, October 14 by hosting the Idaho Steelheads at Maverik Center at 7:05 p.m. The Grizzlies open training camp October 3. A complete schedule will be released shortly.
