Griffins Host Barons, Support Oklahoma Relief

Friday, May 24, 2013 vs. Oklahoma City Barons (Game 1)

Time : 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.)

Support Oklahoma : Fans can help support relief efforts in Oklahoma in a variety of ways. Each Griffins player who participated in the series against Toronto will autograph one of his game-used sticks, and all of those sticks will be sold on the arena concourse between 5:45 p.m. and the end of the second intermission. The price is $100 per stick, on a first-come, first-served basis, with proceeds benefiting the Red Cross. During the first timeout of the first period, representatives from Meijer will present a check to the Red Cross and Bill Scott, general manager of the Barons. At that time, fans will be encouraged to make a donation via text message. Additionally, fans can contribute to the Red Cross by purchasing a Chuck-a-Puck from the Griffins Booster Club or visiting donation buckets at various arena concession stands. Bell ringers will be present on the arena plaza to raise funds for the Salvation Army's relief efforts. Finally, the Griffins are facilitating additional donations through ticket sales to their corporate partners.

Beer/Hot Dog Special : The Griffins are offering $2 beers and $2 hot dogs for all home playoff games from 6-8 p.m.

Advance ticket prices are $15, $17 and $19 in the arena's upper level, and $19, $23, $27 and $33 in the lower level. (Additional $2 per ticket on day of game.) On game night, tickets may be purchased without a convenience charge at the Van Andel Arena box office, beginning 90 minutes before game time.

Season-Long Offers

Military Nights : Every home game this season, current members of our military can purchase up to four upper bowl tickets for $14 each (or $12 in advance at The Zone) with a valid military ID. The offer also extends to veterans who present a VA ID or discharge papers.

The Vault Restaurant and Bar : Enjoy food and drink specials in the Fifth Third Bank Vault prior to every Griffins home game.
