Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Monday announced that broadcasts of all the team's remaining Calder Cup playoff games will be available on the Internet, thanks to an agreement with SportsJuice.com.

Tonight's webcast of Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against the Houston Aeros marks the Griffins' first Internet broadcast since the 2001-02 season. Rights and licensing issues forced radio stations across the country, including Griffins flagship Newsradio WOOD 1300, to suspend webcasts of their programming last year.

"In light of the Griffins' tremendous season and playoff run, it became even more important to find a way to make every game available to all of our fans, including those from around the state and our players' families located throughout North America and Europe," said Bob Kaser, Griffins executive director of broadcasting and community relations. "We're thrilled we could make it happen for our fans."

Webcasts of Griffins playoff games will be available commercial-free, beginning with tonight's pre-game show at 6:40. Fans will be able to follow links provided at griffinshockey.com.

SportsJuice.com is the single largest source of major league, minor league and amateur sports broadcasts on the Internet, providing over 40,000 games a year since 1999.
