July 18, 2015 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL)
Pittsfield Suns News Release

David Griffin kept the Pittsfield Suns (17-18) off the board during his six innings of work and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (14-20) beat the Pittsfield Suns, 14-0.

Griffin allowed three hits, two walks and struck out five.

Seven runs in the first three innings helped the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs blow out the Pittsfield Suns. A sacrifice fly by Kurtis White, an RBI single by Jon Kristoffersen, a two-run error, and a two-run double by Jake Alu in the first inning helped the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs put some runs on the board early.

Max DiTondo racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Adam Erkis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out one./7dMT4m
