
Greyhounds sign Abron

WHEELING, WV - The Ohio Valley Greyhounds of the United Indoor Football Association are proud to announce the signing of Anthony Abron (6-2, 226).
Abron becomes the fifth member of the Greyhounds this year to have donned the blue and gold at the University of Toledo. Anthony appeared in 18 games for the UT Rockets in his career, recording 16 tackles and a forced fumble. Abron lettered twice and was listed as the number two defensive end after spring practices in 2003.
Abron starred as a linebacker/defensive end at Warren G. Harding High School, where he was a first-team all-state selection as a senior. He was rated the no. 6 linebacker in the state by "Prep Football Prospects of Ohio".
The Greyhounds are back in action this Saturday at WesBanco Arena, taking on division rival Fort Wayne. Tickets are available at the WesBanco Arena box office by calling (304) 233-4470.
