Greensboro Grasshoppers News Release
Believe it or not, we are over 25% of the way through the season, and the Bats stand at .500 at 18-18. Currently, Greensboro is set to play the final game of a season-long, 11-game, 8-day road trip. The Bats have gone 4-6 so far, but Yorman Bazardo will try to get that mark close to .500, and attain a split with the Hagerstown Suns tonight. Bazardo has thrown 13 scoreless innings in his two starts this season. Greensboro has an eight-game homestand coming up, with four games against the Asheville Tourists, and four more with the Hickory Crawdads. The stand will start on Monday, May 12. Also, don't forget to check out the latest feature on www.greensborobats.com. It's a journal from the road from radio broadcaster Josh Flickinger, titled Flick's Follies. We'll see you at the ballpark!
