Las Vegas Gladiators News Release


The Las Vegas Gladiators will put down the indoor field turf and goal posts for the first time in 2004 when they hold an inter-squad scrimmage at the Thomas & Mack Center on January 24. Fans can come and check out all the hard-hitting, in-your-face action and pick where they want to sit for the 2004 season. The Gladiators, now Armed & Dangerous with All-AFL quarterback Clint Dolezel, are in preparation for their second season of play in Las Vegas (fourth overall) in the 18-year-old Arena Football League. In addition, auditions for the Gladiator promo team and anthem singers will be held, as well as your chance to get new Gladiator merchandise.

WHO:

Head coach Frank Haege and all the Gladiator players, including quarterback Clint Dolezel, OS Terrill Shaw, WR/LB Marcus Nash and defensive specialist Jeroid Johnson, will sign autographs and mingle with fans after the scrimmage.

Fans' Arena Football Skills Competition – 1:45 PM

NOTE:

The Gladiators open the 2004 season on Friday, Feb. 6, on the road against the Colorado Crush (6:00 p.m. kickoff). The Gladiators first home game will be on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Thomas & Mack Center against the Los Angeles Avengers that will be televised by NBC.
