Greenville's John Harkes Named League One Coach of the Month for July

TAMPA, Fla. - USL League One today announced that Greenville Triumph SC's John Harkes has been named the League One Coach of the Month for July. The winningest coach in League One history, Harkes' and Greenville's fifth Coach of the Month honor is the most on league history.
One of just four clubs to earn double-digit points in July, Greenville's 3-1-1 July was enough to move the league's winningest club back into a playoff position. Harkes' side earned the most clean sheets on the month (2) and conceded the fewest goals (3) with victories against Madison, Knoxville and South Georgia.
"I am grateful to receive this award," Harkes said. "Our players and staff have put in the work, and we recognize how far we have come from the beginning of the season. We are constantly looking for solutions, trying to assist and elevate players in order to build self-esteem and confidence, and also stay focused on the process with our culture. Much work ahead as it's so tight at the top, and this is a difficult league!"
Harkes was selected as League One's Coach of the Month by the USL League One Technical Committee.
