
Greenville Triumph Announces 2023 Home Opener Date and Opponent

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club in conjunction with USL League One announced its 2023 Home Opener ahead of their fifth season. The Triumph will welcome the Richmond Kickers to the Upstate on Saturday, March 25th.
Greenville enters the 2023 season in search of a fifth straight playoff berth after losing in the 2022 playoff semifinals to eventual champion-Tormenta FC. Greenville finished the 2022 season 12-8-10, good for second in regular season play. The home opener will mark a rematch of the 2022 regular season finale, which ended in 1-1 draw. Greenville was one of two teams to go undefeated against Richmond in 2022, pushing its all-time record to 4-3-1 against the Virginia club.
On the road...
Greenville will travel to Forward Madison on Saturday, April 15th for their home opener at Breese Stevens Field stadium. Greenville is 2-1-5 overall against Forward after the 2022 season.
The full 2023 USL League One schedule is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
