Greensboro Swarm News Release
(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - For the third straight season, the Greensboro Swarm will partner with DICK'S Sporting Goods for a holiday shopping spree for 10 deserving children from a local Boys & Girls Club. Along with Sergeant Swarm, the players will assist the children at a local DICK's location on Thursday, December 13.
The special day for the kids begins at the Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex with a behind the scenes look at an NBA G League facility. From there, the children will be taken to the DICK'S store in the team bus and surprised at the location by the players. After some group photos, the players will break off into groups and assist the kids in the shopping spree.
The shopping spree, in conjunction with NBA Cares' Season of Giving, is one of several events the Swarm participate to better serve its community.
