The Augusta GreenJackets are turning back the clock to the 1980's. On Friday, April 27, its Turn-back-the-Clock night at the park as Augusta goes back in time to when baseball returned to Augusta.

The GreenJackets will be wearing 1980's Augusta Pirates uniforms and there will be a silent auction during the game for the jerseys.

At the end of the game the players will autograph the jersey they wore for the winners of the auction. Proceeds from the auction will go toward the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital.

Players will be available on Thursday, April 26 for photo opportunities for the press to highlight and promote this event. Members of the media are invited to Lake Olmstead Stadium at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 to take photos and talk with players.

There will be discounted food and drinks during the game on Friday as well as the best music from the 80's during the game.

The GreenJackets are currently off to their best start in franchise history and own the best record in all of baseball with a 17-3 mark. Augusta began the season winning 12 straight and have recorded eight shutouts this season through the first 20 games.
