ROCKVILLE, MD.The Maryland GreenHawks have come to terms with combo guard Lamar Castile.

Castile played two years at Beaver County Community College where he averaged over 29 ppg, 9 rpg and 5 apg in two seasons. He then entered the NBA draft.

Castile has since played in the CBA and overseas in Rome and Mexico and also had a brief stint last season in the PBL with the Buffalo Stampede where he averaged 20 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.5 apg and 2.2 spg.

GreenHawks General Manager Adam Dantus is excited about adding Castile. "The addition of Lamar really solidifies our backcourt," said Dantus. "Lamar is a strong and explosive guard who will create many mismatches."

The GreenHawks will take on the Rochester RazorSharks Thursday night in Rochester before coming home to face the Vermont Frost Heaves at home on Saturday at 7PM.
