
Green Bay Wins a Thriller

Damien Carfagna and Camden Thiesing each tallied a pair of goals and Matt Davis made 38 saves to backstop the Green Bay Gamblers to a 6-4 win over the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Tuesday at the Resch Center. The Gamblers sit in 2nd place in the USHL Eastern Division with a mark of 24-11-2 (50 points).
Ryan Kirwin tallied his 17th of the season and Alex Servagno notched the game winner at the 17:30 mark of the 3rd period.
With his two assists, Mason Lohrei tied Derrick LaPoint (2006-07) for most points in a season by a Gamblers defenseman. Lohrei's 49 points, is tops among all USHL Defenseman and 5th overall in scoring.
With his 38-save effort, Davis improved to 16-7-1 on the 2020-21 campaign.
Green Bay returns to the Resch Center ice on Friday, as they open a two-game weekend series versus the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Start times on Friday and Saturday, 7:05 PM. Box office opens at 10:00 AM or order tickets online at gamblershockey.com
