Green Bay Prepares for the Barnstormers

Green Bay, WI - The Green Bay Blizzard will host the Iowa Barnstormers at the Resch Center on Friday, May 20th at 7:05 PM.

Green Bay (3-6) will look to get back in the win column after a disappointing home loss to the Quad City Steamwheelers in Week 10.

Iowa (5-3) enters Friday's matchup on a two-game win streak, most recently defeating the Bismarck Bucks 41-36 at home in Week 10.

The two teams faced off earlier this season in Iowa, with the Barnstormers winning the Week 4 matchup 36-18.

In their meeting, Blizzard QB Jack Sheehan threw for two touchdowns. DB Momodou Mbye had 10 tackles, and DL Deldrick Canty recorded a safety after Green Bay blocked an Iowa field goal attempt late in the first half.

Green Bay will attempt to slow down Iowa's ground attack during their Week 11 matchup. The Barnstormers scored three rushing touchdowns on the Blizzard during Week 4.

Friday's theme is Top Gun Night, as part of "Blizzard at the Box Office" during the month of May, and in honor of the release of Top Gun: Maverick on May 27th.

The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Blizzard flight wings that include a buy one, get one free meal special at Replay Sports Bar and Grill. It is also Bud Night at the Resch, with a buy one, get one free 32 ounce Bud and Bud Light deal.
